Students review class materials at the Kutumba School in Uganda DALLAS/East Lansing, MI–(April 2015)–Caring For The World Films announced the production of a new documentary on the Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project. The film will focus on the Nyaka School in rural Uganda.
The documentary will be directed by award-winning Director Debi Lang, and produced in cooperation with Nyaka AIDS Orphans’ founder and 2012 CNN Hero Twesigye "Jackson" Kaguri. Steve Lang will serve as executive producer, Jan Koehler as cinematographer, Emily Jones as camera assistant Dylan Beckerich as boom operator and Anna Ashford as production coordinator. Other members of the team are Dr. Wes Hickey, Interim Dean, College of Education and Psychology at the University of Texas at Tyler and Reinhart Koehler, Board Chair of NPH International. The Young Company will create graphics and handle media relations for the project.
