CORNERSTONE DIRECTOR WINS HUMANITARIAN AWARD

DALLAS-February 15, 2018- Caring For The World Films is proud to announce its founder and director Debi Lang, has been awarded a prestigious Humanitarian Award of Distinction for her most recent documentary CORNERSTONE. ​Nominees must have received an award for their film in a distinct category to qualify. The Humanitarian Award is given for compelling story line, production values, outstanding visuals and sound.  It honors filmmakers who bring awareness to issues of Spiritual importance, Social and Political Justice, Health and Wellness, Animals, Wildlife and Conservation.

DALLAS-February 12, 2018-Caring For The World Films Director Debi Lang has been nominated for the Best Shorts Film Competition Grand Prize Humanitarian Award   for the award-winning documentary  CORNERSTONE, which profiles the compelling story of Twesygie Jackson Kaguri and  Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project.

Each year the Best Shorts film competition bestows a Grand Prize Humanitarian Award to a deserving filmmaker who is committed to making a difference in the world through impactful filmmaking that highlights a critical need of our time combined with exceptional filmmaking craft.  

In 2017, CORNERSTONE  received the Best Documentary Short Award  at the Best Shorts Film Competition and earned  numerous international awards since its release including Best Human Rights Film, Best Cinematography and  Best Documentary. Miss Lang is the recipient of over a dozen  awards for her work as a director, editor and producer for  humanitarian documentary films since 2006.
