Hearts In The Himalayas profiles the efforts of the Nepalese humanitarian organization Himalayan HealthCare, which provides medical care, education, and income generation opportunities to the mostly forgotten people who live in the remote foothills of the Himalayas.
“We are extremely proud of our commitment to showcase relatively unknown but extremely successful non-profit organizations who operate in places no one cares to go,” states Debi Lang, founder of Caring For The World Films. “This project is a celebration of the successful efforts of highly respected humanitarian Anil Parajuli and the exhaustive work Himalayan HealthCare has accomplished over the past twenty years in Nepal.”
This is the 11th honor for the film, which was recently awarded the Golden Communicator Award of Excellence by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.
